MEChA de Auraria - April 2000 Events

• 4-3 Cinco de Mayo planning meeting @ 1:30pm.
• 4-3 La Raza Youth Planning meeting at Mile High United Way @ 6pm.
• 4-6 MEChA meeting in Sigi's Cabaret in Tivoli @ 6pm.
• 4-6 Noche de Cultura for Peace and Dignity.  Ganas, 1212 Mariposa @ 6pm.
• 4-8 Sacred Four Directions 100-mile relay run and Fundraiser.  Cultural events will begin at South High School, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave. from 12-6pm, featuring indigenous storytellers, dancers, and entertainment.  Food, T-shirts, buttons and musical CD's contributed by native recording artists, Mitch Walking Elk, Hip Hop with a message by Aztlan Underground and Kokapelli Flutes, will be sold.  For more information or to pledge you can call MEChA de Auraria @ 303.556.8073.
