I am looking at ideas for the night sky that they fly against on the way to Neverland. This image suggests a look, one that is playful and is a vision of the night sky from a children's point of view of the night sky.
I think that once they leave the house, its open season on what is a depiction of the "real world" and what is not anymore so that it does not necessarily have to be a realistic night sky. There would also be a night skyline of London in the lower part of the sky that is a ground row that parts and moves offstage as they fly to give the illusion that they are leaving London. A cheaper way to do the sky could simply be with a black scrim with grain of wheat lights hung behind it for stars against a back traveler. |
