How To Do The Workshops
The on-line Faculty Development Workshop will be more
enjoyable if you understand basic avenues for communication, know simple skills for
navigating through the pages, and know how to complete Web-based forms.
General Communication
- Each page has a hyperlink in the footer area that provides an easy way to e-mail the facilitator should you need special assistance.
Questions, suggestions, and/or problems you may have will be addressed promptly by the
facilitator.
- All information submitted through this workshop will remain confidential.
Your submitted responses to each section will be emailed to yourself as well as a workshop
facilitator at the University of Colorado at Denver.
General Navigation & Web Instructions
- How to use Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks are usually underlined and are a different color from other text.
Using the mouse pointer and click on a hyperlink to transfer to another location.
- Use your browser's "Back" button to return to the previous
spot.
- The workshop Table of Contents will be your reference as you navigate through
the workshop.
Use your browser's "Add Bookmark" or "Add Favorites" to easily return
to the workshop when starting a new session.
- Listening experiences are provided for some exercises. The sound files are large and may
require significant time to download, depending on your connection speed. If you
do NOT have sound capabilities, it's best not to select the sound hyperlinks.
You may test your
sound capabilities with a short sound clip.
Submitting Forms
- All activities will be automatically submitted to the facilitator
when you select the submit button of the form on each exercise page. Your e-mail address
is required for each form. The facilitator will provide
timely feedback on your completed activities.
