Course Inventory Description


BIOL 1550-4. Basic Biology: Ecology and the Diversity of Life. Lecture, laboratory. A course for students who are not majoring in science, which introduces students to important biological concepts, including: biological diversity, evolution, basic ecological principles, environmental issues, and alternative options. Lectures emphasize current issues. Lab required. Course will fulfill the CU-Denver core requirement. Biology and health career majors should take BIOL 2051/2071. No prerequisites.
