Description: A discussion of the sources, reactions, transport, effects, and fates of chemical species in the water, soil, and air environments. This course is the chemistry core requirement for the M.S. in Environmental Sciences degree.

Prerequisites: one year of general chemistry, plus one semester of organic chemistry, or one semester of analytical chemistry, or permission of instructor.
