A Statement On Governance

Prepared by the Information Technology Policy Committee:

Information technology is increasingly important to many sectors of the campus. Large sums of money are being invested in technology. It is essential for the campus to develop a decision and governance structure for this important sector. In order for information technology to serve the campus well, it will need a governance structure that involves all segments of the campus.

Suggestions for the governance structure should be tested against a common floor which includes the following criteria: leadership; timely decisions; clarity; and inclusion of all stakeholders.
