The list of faculty who have been featured or quoted by the media is extensive. Here are just a few mentions. Most recently, Phil Strain, School of Education, made local, regional and national headlines with his study on parenting. His story appeared in several national newspapers.. Herman Aguinis, management professor, also received substantial publicity for his research on "romance in the work place," both in print and electronic media. News that CU-Denver was named as the Regional Office for the National Sports Consortium appeared locally and nationally. Tom Clark, planning and design professor, also has been featured and quoted extensively in articles about growth in Colorado. Peter Kaplan, psychology professor appeared on Good Morning America and was featured locally and nationally for his research on new mothers and depression. Our faculty is called upon regularly by the local, regional and state media as sources, and often by the national media.
