James K. Straub recently was appointed as director for the Auraria Media Center (AMC), housed at the University of Colorado at Denver. Straub is responsible for the administration and day-to-day operation of the Media Center, which is composed of Media Equipment Services (186 classrooms), Technical Systems and Services, Media Production and Distance Learning. The AMC plans, develops and provides technology and video telecommunications to support instruction on the urban campus of CU-Denver.
