Course
Schedules
Students with a major in sociology can now complete all of the required courses through the CU-Online program. If a required course is offered "in class" in the Fall semester, it will then be offered online in the Spring semester and vice versa. Race and Ethnicity, the course that meets the University diversity requirement, is also now available through CU-Online. You will register for these courses through the CU-Online program.
Students of Sociology Club
The Department of Sociology fully supports the Students of Sociology Club and encourages you to become a member. Announcements of current club activities, parties and other news of interest to sociology majors, minors and friends is now available through the Sociology Club. You may also access announcements at the Sociology announcements page.
The club holds regular social meetings and study sessions. In addition, the club provides opportunities for and encourages students to submit papers to regional professional meetings such as the Pacific Sociological Association, the Midwest Sociological Society and the Western Social Science Association. Students are also encouraged to join and participate in the Society for Applied Sociology.
