The third examination is Friday this week. Please note my policy regarding make ups, you must let me know ahead of time if you will not be here for the examination. I am extending this to the quizzes as well. If you wish to make up a quiz in the future, you must have let me know ahead of time that you will not be here for the quiz.
The sample questions for this examination are available to help you prepare for this examination.
The suggested topics for the optional paper are also available. Please note that if you choose to do the optional paper, you must have completed it and turned it in by class time on Wednesday, November 22. I will accept no papers after that time and date.
Our second examination is on Friday this week. You will want to get the copy of the sample questions to help you prepare for the examination. You can create your cheat sheet to go with the examination. Use the sample questions as a starting point.
We are now into the 6th week of classes and approaching another examination. I have placed on line a set of sample questions that you may use to prepare for this examination. Please obtain a copy and use it to help you prepare for the examination. You will want to bring this copy with you on the Wednesday preceding the examination as we will use it to review for the exam.
Several have already asked about the optional paper. You will find possible topics for the optional paper on the web site. I ask that you give serious thought to the paper and wait until after you have completed this second exam before you jump into the paper. I would like for you to use one of the 8 topics I have listed, but you are not limited to these topic. You may develop your own topic, but please check the topic with me before you get too far into it.
Friday of this week will be the first examination. I have prepared a set of sample questions from which I will choose 8 to appear on the examination. Please remember to bring a scantron with you to class. I will provide space on the examination for your response to the short answer items.
You will find regular announcements here. I will post links to the sample questions for each examination as soon as they become available. As I become aware of issues or problems that affect all of you I will post information about them here. I have prepared a 'How to Study' document to help you prepare for quizzes and exams. You may want to print a copy for reference.
