The materials I have included as topical notes are based on my day-to-day lectures to the class. The materials closely parallel the text, but will expand upon the ideas presented in it.
'Hot points' or links take you to someplace else in the world where there is interesting or useful information relating to that topic. Remember that you can always get back to our home page by choosing 'home' from the list of options provided by the browser you are using.
I encourage you to explore the internet. If you find interesting places and discussions, share them with me and with other students. If you will give me the address, I can build the link into my lecture / topical notes so that others may use them next year.
Each topic will carry with it a date and reference to the text. I will also provide you with additional graphs, links to other documents and pictures (if time permits their development). I will also be telling you some things that will make the topic relevant to the day-to-day experiences and how I would appear in the classroom.
