Albert Einstein's first wife provided great moral support for the young scientist...
But what was her involvement with his work on Special Relativity?

Mileva Maric was born on December 19, 1875 in Titel, Vojvodinae in southern Hungary. She showed an early dedication to her education by seeking special permission to attend an all-male 'gymnasium' or high school. There she studied physics for two years and was awarded top grades in physics as well as mathematics.
"...Mileva became one of the first women in
the Austro-Hungarian Empire to sit in a high school classroom with her
male peers."(Kristic)
