This small site has almost no habitation evidence associated with it, but the distinctive U-shape of the architecture would seem to place it in the Epiclassic El Grillo phase. It has, of course, been looted, and is within the La Venta Corridor, along the eastern edge of the Tequila valleys. The CU and GS numbers on the map above indicate surface collections - the CUs indicate systematic random Collection Units, the GS indicates distinctive items that did not fall within a collection unit. The latter, of course, are not to be used in any statistical studies because of their non-random character.
