The conference hotel for LASSO XXXVI is The Curtis, located at 1405 Curtis St. in downtown Denver. The hotel is conveniently located two blocks from campus as well as close to many cultural centers in downtown, most notably the Denver Center for the Performing Arts across the street. In addition to the great location, the price is right as well. The per-night conference rate for LASSO is $109/single and $119/double. You must make your reservations at least 30 days in advance to be assured the conference rate, so call 'em early (1.800.525.6651)! Additionally, the Denver Broncos have a home football game that weekend. While we have reserved a block of rooms, the number is finite and anything beyond that number is not guaranteed. All participants are encouraged to make LASSO reservations as early as possible. The hotel is brand new to Denver (opened January 2007) and promises a unique yet relaxing atmosphere. While there may be other options to choose from, you will not find another hotel downtown at that rate. For this reason and for the sake of convenience, participants are strongly encouraged to stay at the Curtis.
