Research and Teaching:
I study colloid transport and clogging in porous media, which is important in water treatment, aquifer hydraulics, and contaminant remediation. Topics include:

  • In-situ characterization of colloid deposit morphology.
  • Environmental transport of engineered nanoparticles.
  • Hydraulic and environmental benefits of porous pavement.

I teach fluid mechanics for undergraduate students and hydrology and groundwater for graduate students.
