Colorado is an especially nice place to take a vacation, and downtown Denver is focal point for many cultural and sporting activities. Although we at Altitude are certain that everybody will attend every talk at Joan's birthday conference, here are a few suggestions of things to do around town just in case. Check back for updates as more details and items will be added continually.

Tamayo (be sure to sip a frozen mango margarita on the second-floor terrace while watching the sun set over the mountains. Ahhhh. )

Denver Center for the Performing Arts is across the street from the conference hotel and has 8-10 theaters. The symphony, opera, broadway shows and much more can be found here.
