The CAVE: A Virtual Reality Tool

Alexandra Sinclair's presentation covered the basic architecture of the CAVE and explored its many applications in science, engineering and medicine. The CAVE is a powerful virtual reality tool that allows various researchers from many fields to visualize their data in a way not possible before. After studying the theorems and foundations of parallel computing this semester, it was very interesting to hear a presentation on current applications of parallel computing.
