Focusing on the current American Empire we ask the questions,"Does architecture advance the cause of empire?", "Can architecture be a subversive art?", "Does every empire have to have a specific architectural imprint?"

Each student will be responsible for one class period either as a solo or a tandem flight [in this case, two classes] after mid semester. The first half of the semester will be devoted to a group flight, the first three stops of which have already been predetermined. During the first half of the course we will have to work out who is doing what and when during the second half.
