No grade below C is acceptable towards the major requirements. That is, psychology, biology, or chemistry
courses in which a student earns a C‑ or below will not count toward the
major.
·
Psychology courses taken at other colleges and universities (including
CU-Boulder and CU-Colorado Springs) must be approved by the CU-Denver
psychology B.S. degree advisor or department chair before they can be counted
towards the major requirements.
HONORS IN PSYCHOLOGY:
To graduate with departmental honors, students must have a 3.5 GPA (both
overall and in the major) at the start of the senior year. They must pass a departmental test and complete
an independent project under the direction of a psychology faculty member. Students interested in earning honors should
consult with the psychology faculty during their junior year. The College also awards honors—see the
CU-Denver Catalog or your CLAS advisor for details.
