Writers' Workshop:
Talking About Writing
This page provides the entry points for online discussions and work related to your writing:
Using the Online Forum
After reading this paragraph of instructions and explanations, go to the NiceNet Conference Center and log in to the Writers' Workshop discussion.
Getting to the actual discussion will require that you provide the Writers' Workshop Secret Code; you'll need to get the code from your local teacher or from the "Help" directory.-----------> You'll also need to go through a series of steps to register for the discussion. Just follow the NiceNet instructions; you'll get there. (The "Help" page on Discussion can also provide some guidance.)
At least one question has been posted on the discussion page. You can respond to it,
or you may create a discussion by asking a question or making a comment of your own.![]()
Using the Online Whiteboard
After reading this paragraph, go to the Public White Board available on the Web. You share the white board space with anyone else who happens to visit it. You can use the white board to draw, exchange ideas or diagrams, or to bra instorm. It's especially good for online planning with folks who aren't immediately available (although your session is likely to get interrupted by a surfer who crashes in).Remember, you're sharing this space with anyone in the world. Don't disclose your deepest secrets, and please treat other users with respect.
