Online discussions are just like any other discussion, except that you can't see the other participants (usually) and you have to type instead of talk. The Online Discussion used in this site is provided as a public service by a group
of Web aficionados who call themselves NiceNet.
You may find getting to the discussion complicated. First log in to the
NiceNet Conference Center and log in to the Writers' Workshop discussion located there.
The white board is very easy. Just go to the
Public White Board site. After a longish wait, the white board comes up and you can start using it.
> You will need to create your own account. The NiceNet site walks you through that.
> Then, you will need to get to the "Writers' Workshop" discussion.
Use that name when the site asks you what "class" you want.
> The "Class Key" (the secret code) is P2706W95. That will get you into the discussion page.
> At least one question has been posted on the discussion page. You can respond to it,
or you may create a discussion by asking a question or making a comment of your own.
Just fill in the appropriate forms and "submit" the finished product.Remember, you're sharing this space with anyone in the world. Don't disclose your deepest secrets, and please treat other users with respect.
